Billing

Unfortunately, most billing problems need a reference number from the Joburg Connect Call Centre on 011-375-5555. Please note that councillors are only allowed to deal with reference numbers that are older than 2 months.

If you register with Joburg City E-services you can usually enter your meter readings, see back and latest copies of your latest statements and log billing problems. You can also usually obtain latest account balances on the Joburg Connect Call Centre on 011 375 5555.

Billing problems are often quite complicated, have a long history and may take a while to resolve. The sooner you can alert me to your problem, the sooner the process of resolving the problem will start.

Note that a councillor cannot help you unless you have a reference number for you query.

If you have a reference number for a query from a call centre, please fill in the form below to log a query with Ward 89 councillor so that she may begin the process of resolving your problem. Once you log your problem below you will be prompted to email your problematic billing statements to Ward 89 councillor.
